Here is an email I received from the DOJ accepting my complaint which says that they will look into it:

The Civil Rights Division relies on information from community members to identify potential civil rights violations. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and other law enforcement agencies conduct investigations for the Division. Therefore, you may want to contact your local FBI office or visit www.FBI.gov.”
A Point of Information: a Quote from a Mayo clinic letter:“Several studies have shown that addressing the spiritual needs of the patient may enhance recovery from illness.”
In 40 years and dealing with perhaps a dozen psychologists and psychiatrists. In that time not one made one single comment about my experiences or asked a single question. THAT is Conditioning Big Time. At the end of the 40 years I asked my psychiatrist (mood disorder) about the Definist Fallacy. She blew it off saying she had no opinion. I filed 4 complaints with Kaiser Permanente and never got an answer. The KP quality assurance person said psychiatrists don’t always say the right things. Dr Neal my psychiatrist said she didn’t recall saying anything. So, I Kindly explained what the Definist Fallacy is again. She could have responded then – but didn’t. Several times I quoted Dr Farra statement that the Definsit Fallacy is “spiritual poison” to indicate my negative views of the Definist Fallacy were valid.
It couldn’t be clearer that to them what my beliefs and values are – Yet, the truth of it is that my beliefs were nothing but dogs**t to them. I can show via my messages – documented that KP and Dr Neal’s actions were the complete and diametric opposite of what medical recommendations are.I believe it would be safe to say that the DOJ woudl never accept a complaint unless there was a legitimate question or issue.
Part I:Synchronicity: Acausal Meaning Inter-Connectivity!
While “acausal” refers to events or objects outside the conventional physics’ theories of cause and effect, the real meaning of synchronicity could perhaps be holistically or spiritually described as a fusion of magic and mystery, as well as a sense of “Oneness and Unity with the All” – which is sometimes grasped as an awareness of an underlying interconnectivity or Inter-Being of life, matter and energy, as Stefan Schindler, the Buddhist scholar puts it. At times, synchronicity is, in essence, an awareness of the potential of an interdimensional interconnectivity in which meaning from a different reality can insert itself into our reality, a it were. Charles de Lint, author of fiction and fantasy, expressed his idea of synchronicity when he observed, “I do believe in an everyday sort of magic — theinexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with places, people, worksof art and the like; the eerie appropriateness of moments of synchronicity; thewhispered voice, the hidden presence, when we think we’re alone.”
Jung states inSynchronicity: An Acausal ConnectingPrinciple: “Meaningful coincidences are thinkable as pure chance. But the morethey multiply and the greater and more exact the correspondence is, the moretheir probability sinks and their unthinkability increases, until they can nolonger be regarded as pure chance but, for lack of a causal explanation, haveto be thought of as meaningful arrangements” (1981, pp. 518-519).
Nancy Furlotti, in her article, Tracing a Red Thread: Synchronicity and Jung’s Red Book, observes about synchronicity that, “From Jung’s (1981) writings, it is clear that several factors must be present for an event to be synchronistic. First of all, there must be an interest in the observer’s mind, and with that interest comes a heightened affect. Affect emerges from archetypes, which are the a priori ordering principles of nature, the world, and the psyche. When an archetype is activated, energy is put in motion that does not adhere to the laws of causality, or time and space. Instead it moves in its own way between psyche, or the unconscious, and matter, or reality. Jung calls this movement acausal (1981); von Franz calls it field thinking as opposed to causal or linear thinking (1980, p. 8). According to field thinking, certain events happen together at the same time. Simultaneity seems to be the uniting element of the events.
Jung’s Golden Scarab Beetle
The genesis of Jung’s concept of “synchronicity,” was given birth by the uncannily, well-timed appearance of a golden scarab beetle. One night, a young woman who was a patient and client of Carl Jung, the famous psychologist and psychotherapist, at a critical time in her treatment had a vivid dream of being given a golden scarab beetle (cetonia aurata). The next day, while the young woman was relating the dream to Carl Jung, as Jung relates it: “I sat with my back to the closed window. Suddenly I heard a noise behindme, like a gentle tapping. I turned round and saw a flying insect knockingagainst the window-pane from outside. I opened the window and caught thecreature in the air as it flew in.
It was the nearest analogy to a goldenscarab that one finds in our latitudes, a scarabaeid beetle, the commonrose-chafer (Cetonia aurata), which contrary to its usual habits had evidentlyfelt an urge to get into a dark room at this particular moment. I must admitthat nothing like it ever happened to me before or since, and that the dream ofthe patient has remained unique in my experience.” (CW8 – 843) Carl Jung was thunder-struck by the incredible “synchronicity” of these two separate actions and, so, the idea of synchronicity emerged – a discovery produced by the coincidental and synchronous appearance and occurrence of the golden scarab in the patient’s dream coupled with the highly unlikely appearance of a golden scarab. In Jung describes synchronicity as an acausal action, and in the golden scarab beetle story a “meaning from another reality could possibly be portrayed as being acausally connected with the meaning from a reality separated by long distances but, perhaps, still connected by some ‘cosmic intelligence.’
Acausal Reality and Quantum Entanglement
The famous physicist Pauli recognizes that an “acausal reality” does, in truth, exist – perhaps from his knowledge of quantum entanglement in which two subatomic particles can be separated by long distances yet intimately and inextricably connected with synchronous reactions faster than the speed of light. Albert Einstein could never really grasp the reality of quantum entanglement and never truly fully embraced since, in his view, the quantum entanglement phenomenon,by all appearances, violated his understanding and knowledge of physics. The brilliant Russian thinker and novelist, Lev Tolstoy was, perhaps, the first ‘Western’ thinker to recognize that the “meaning of life” actually lay outside ‘scientific’ cause and effect. The modern scientist, Pauli similarly observed that “although [particle physics] allows for an acausal form of observation, it actually has no use for the concept of ‘meaning’” — that is, meaning is not a fundamental function of reality but an interpretation superimposed by the human observer.” Perhaps, this could possibly be taken to suggest that “Truth” might be transcendental or acausal in nature and meaning from one reality (divine or cosmic) could be potentially acausally connected with the meaning of a human being’s reality?
Carl Jung observed about Logos, “There is no consciousness without discrimination of opposites. This is the paternal principle, the Logos, which eternally struggles to extricate itself from….. unconsciousness….[Yet] Consciousness can only exist through continual recognition of the unconscious…..” (Arch and Unc, p. 96) In that sense, it could be, perhaps, in this sense, then, that “synchronicity” is a reflection of the divine Logos extricating itself from the limits and prison of the unconscious.
It would seem reasonable to ask whether the Truth or Logos, especially in light of these ideas and ‘complexes’being constructs of meaning, both in a human and a physical context, could possibly be, i n the end, an “acausal Truth” in essence. Nancy Furlotti states, “When an archetype is activated, energy is put in motion that does not adhere to the laws of causality, or time and space. Instead it moves in its own way between psyche or the unconscious, and matter, or reality.” So, it would seem to follow that an individual’s “Truth” and consciousness definitely, as Pauli observes, would be “an interpretation superimposed by the human observer” involving “acausal” influences beyond a person’s ordinary perception.
The legendary physicist and a pioneer of quantum physics, Max Planck, stated unequivocally that, “All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force… We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.”Nancy Furlotti highlights that Jung also emphasized the matter-energy locus and that Jung argued that transfer and conversion of energy and spirit to matter is an underlying principle of the universe.
A Cosmic Connectivity
The idea of synchronicity springs, in part, from a sense of an [acausal] connectivity and oneness to the universe and the All. There is a unity to the ALL and, in some form or another, we are all connected in some way to everything else. That is, synchronicity could perhaps express a sense of destiny. In a sense synchronicity is rooted in the cycles of nature, the universe, as well as human nature, history, and myth, and finally of creation and rebirth. That Jung’s synchronicity began with the golden scarab beetle would seem almost to be also of a synchronous-consciousness immersed in divine creation, rebirth, and human myth.
In the ancient religious and spiritual beliefs of Egypt, the scarab is a symbol saturated with divine meaning and spiritual symbolism. Archaeologists have excavated millions of amulets and stone stamp seals in Egypt which portrayed the scarab beetle. As a token of worship of the Egyptian gods, a jewel-golden scarab was uncovered that belonged to the famous Egyptian queen Nefertiti. The scarab beetle (kheper) was worshipped as “Khepera”, which means “he was came forth.” The reason for that is because scarab beetles seemed to spontaneously appear from holes where the scarab dung beetles had buried their balls of dung in which the females had laid their eggs. The creator god, Atum, was thought to generate creativity through the scarab beetle. The dung beetle, from theScarabaeidae family with its variety of 30,000 different species, rolls dung into a ball as a source for food. The female dung beetle lays its eggs in a “brood chamber” in the ball. In this way when the larvae hatch, food is right there to devour.
In ancient Egyptian religion, the sun god Ra journeys across the heavens every day, and in doing this also transformed both bodies and souls. And perhaps the most famous member of the family, the sacred scarab, was actually worshiped by the Egyptians as the embodiment of the sun god Khepri. The Egyptian god Khepri, which represented the sun god Ra as the rising sun, was frequently illustrated in royal and sacred paintings as a scarab beetle or alternatively as a scarab-beetle-headed man. In Egyptian mythology, the god Khepri rolled the sun above the horizon similar to dung beetles rolling their balls of dung after renewing the sun by transporting the sun through the other world after sunset. Also, the scarab-beetle god Khepera in Egyptian mythology pushed the setting sun along the sky in the same way as a dung beetle pushed his ball of dung. In archaeological excavations the scarab is portrayed pushing the sun along its path through the sky. In a synchronicity-mirrored-way, the scarab was viewed as symbolic of the processes of rebirth and regeneration mirroring the divine heavenly cycle and spiritual journey.
Beginning around the 11th century BC, during the Egyptian New Kingdom, amulets depicting scarabs were often placed over the heart of the mummified body of the deceased. These “heart scarabs” were supposed to be a ‘counterbalance’ for the goddess Ma’at’s feather of truth during the final judgement of the person’s soul. So, the synchronicity of the earthly processes in the eternal cycle of rebirth and re-creation mirror the heavenly divine and spiritual processes of rebirth and creation. A symbol within a symbol, as it were, and the endless cycle of synchronicity within the matrix of inter-connectivity intrinsic in the spiritual world seems very fitting, perhaps, even, with a touch of poetic justice to it.
Early Christian Mystics: Oneness and Connectivity
Like the early Christian mystic, St. Gregory of Nyssa (c.335 – c. 395), Dionysius the Areopagite, who is believed to date from the fifthor sixth century, also believed that God is beyond human comprehension andbeyond words. And similar to St Gregory of Nyssa, who spoke about obtainingunity with God as in when God descended on Moses in a cloud of darkness(without images or abstractions) in Exodus.
The early Christian mystic Dionysius theAreopagite, also believed in the ‘Oneness’ of being. In his work The Divine Names he stated. “I said in myTheological Representations that one can neither discuss not understand theOne, The Superunknowable, the Transcendent, Goodness itself…..Since the unionof divinized minds with the Light beyond all deity occurs in the cessation ofall intelligent activity [kenosis], the godlike unified minds who imitate these angels asfar as possible praise it mostappropriately through the denial of all beings. Truly and supernaturally enlightened after this blessed union, theydiscover that although it is the cause of everything, it is not a thing thattranscends all things in a manner beyond being…..Realizing all this, thetheologians praise it by every name – and as the Nameless One.” (p. 53-54) It should be noted that the concept of kenosis which is parallel to the concept of “nondualism” which is found in some schools of thought in Hinduism,Buddhism, and Zen.
It should also be noted that Albert Einstein also remarked on the illusion of a person’s “separateness” when he stated, “We experience ourselves our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us.”
Part II: Brief Background-Overview of Documented Spiritual-Psychic Experiences:
Preface to help understand my story of the bizarre synchronicity with the FBI and Spiritual-Psychic Experiences
Offhand one might first think anyone who predicted assassinations would be a bit “odd,” eccentric, or even a bit off as well. However, a review of “documented” predictions or precognitive perceptions reveals that, while the number of examples are limited, by far, the most prevalent and frequent type of documented experiences are warnings or predictions of assassinations or deaths of leaders: assassination of President John F. Kennedy by Jeane Dixon; assassination of Julius Caesar by a seer-high priest as well as in his wife’s dream the night before; assassination of Abraham Lincoln via his own nightmare; assassination of Assyrian King Sennacherib documented in the Old Testament 2 Kings 19:6b-7; Catholic Saint Liguori went into a coma at the same time that his pope lay on his death bed; Nostradamus’ famous quatrain 35 is viewed as predicting-prophesying the death of a French king at a jousting tournament.
Both the psychologists, Dean Radin and Daryl Bem, argue vigorously that instinctual processes are involved with many spiritual-psychic experiences, and of various designs Daryl Bem’s experiments focused on precognition of sexual stimuli by far outperformed all other designs. Daryl Bem’s precognition experiments have been performed a large number of times resulting in repeated successful precognition experiments, even though the experiments had different designs. An article summarizing a Meta-analysis stated that “The complete database comprises 90 experiments conducted between 2001 and 2013. These originated in 33 different laboratories located in 14 countries and involved 12,406 participants.” (1.) By far Daryl Bem’s best performing design was ‘the precognitive detection of erotic stimuli’ (1.)
Relative to the issue of spiritual-experiences rooted in instinctual processes there are a couple of ‘documented psychics’ who are relavent to that question. First there is the TV Long Island Medium Teresa Caputo, who is, in my view, remarkably consistent. Frequently,her clients or subjects will thank her profusely for helping them to gain closure with their powerful emotions connected with departed loved ones. That would seem a clear indication that Theresa Caputo is performing a group related finciton in conncting with and helping others and so implicating instinctual processes (compassion, empathy, need to belong).
Secondly, the famous documented healer and Christian spiritualist Edgar Cayce (active roughly from 1925 to 1945), had a documented record of healing others. LInda Caputi, author and mother of an epileptic daughter, documented that Edgar Cayce healed and “cured” 8 epileptics – and that was in the day and age whcih was devoid of any medications for epilepsy whatsoever. It should be noted that in this day and age of modern medicine and incredible technology – and even with modern medication – absolute “cures” are almost unheard of and it is generally understood that modern medicine which largely just “manages” epilepsy.
Of my own spiritual-psychic experiences – while it should be said that, in my roughly thirty eight years of experiences, the couple of dozen or so spiritual-psychic experiences actually occurred rather haphazardly, nearly every one could best be described as “perceptions of threats to the group.” Of course, these experiences must be orignating in and rooted in instinctual process, and perhaps better understood as my personal-human variation of animal alarm calls.
Of my spiritual-psychic experiences, I have one very detailed and remarkable “once in a lifetime” transcendental spiritual experience which comparatively speaking was exceptionally detailed: group, fabricating bombs, money, woman, death, identification of the weathermen manifesto, “New York.” What makes the experience especially remarkable, in my view, that the last line of the “what a nightmare” stream of consciousness included the “Mustard Seed Parable” because, it coudl be argued that the Mustrard seed Parable is a “divine insight” because it dovetails perfectly with the statement “spirit creates meaning” found in the Synthesis-Consensus of Viktor Frankl, Carl Jung, William James, and Emile Durkheim. Carl Jung, perhaps, stated the synthesis consnsus best when he stated that “spirit [spirutla processes] give menaing to [his] life!”
The Mustard Seed Parable of the Kingdom of Heaven, which is found in Mark and Matthew, is deceptively simple. The Mustard Seed blossoms and grows into a very beautiful and wonderful Mustard Tree. In a metaphor for “Transcendental Spirit” “Spirit” gives life meaning which is parallel to the Spirit in Genesis, as in Genesis 1:2 , which is the agent fo creation and brings life to the world – and man.
Furthermore, besides my once in a lifetime spiritual-psychic experience, I have had a couple detailed dreams as well as a couple dozen other precognitive dreams or perceptions. Most f those should really be called “tags” – defined as a central action with one or two details – as opposed to full blown predictions. Of those perhaps 6 or 7 are documented (by email)
Brief Overview and Background of Spiritual-Psychic Experiences:
Preface – Energy in Narratives and Stories!
As Carl Jung, William James, and others have emphasized “symbols” are not empty concepts but truly possess and contain energy. For instance, the American Flag is an excellent illustration, because as most Americans will tell you, especially veterans, the American flag can invoke very strong and powerful emotions – and energy. So, when a story gets read, the inherent symbols release emotions and energy into human consciousness. The story that I relate is truly bizarre – in my personal view, and some very powerful symbols such as the FBI, political extremism and terrorism, historical cycles, spiritual and religious symbolism, Spirit, “Transcendental Intelligence” or God, Political Power as in both Bush Presidents, the CIA, and others. What is really bizarre is that I had nothing to do with any of the many synchronicities. I didn’t deal the cards, I just play them. My perception is that these “synchronicities” are “collective synchronicities!”
Personally, I can’t shake the feeling that perhaps there is an unconscious collective decision making going on – as in unconscious “script or narratives” creation – or perhaps even “destiny” creation, in a sense – taking place. Of course, this is way beyond my personal control. I am, perhaps, like a small sailboat on a very very big ocean at the mercy of a spiritual, psychological, and religious tempest. And I tell you I have no idea what all this synchronicity means in truth and reality. But I am sure all this synchronicity is significant in some shape, fashion or form.In any case I do feel the story should be told.
Part III: The Beginning – The Once in a Lifetime Spiritual-Psychic Experience
”What a nightmare – Mustard Seed” Transcendental Spiritual-Psychic Experience
One reason, I personally find the concept of “acausal synchronicity” attractive is due to some personal life experiences having to do with some frequent synchronicities with the FBI over the course of a lifetime. My spiritual journey began in 1981, in Toledo, Ohio. I had a premonition about an attempted assassination of President Reagan and I brought it up with a very nice young woman named TJ. After debating the issue for a time, I did finally screw up the courage to call the FBI to warn them. The FBI agent who answered the call, of course, told me that I should call the Secret Service. At the time, consciously I was an atheist with some very strong beliefs antagonistic to psychic spirit, prophecy, Christ or God. Needless to say my call to the FBI started an internal conflict. The emotional struggle and the internal conflict over the question of spiritual-psychic experiences became an intense spiritual-emotional struggle that really needed to be addressed in some way or another.
After another premonition I resolved to write my premonition down and put an end to the fight. After writing it out I resolved to warn the FBI about my perception of an upcoming terrorist attack. I notarized the stream of consciousness which, at first glance, strikes a person as the ravings and rantings of an utter madman. The “What a nightmare” rather uninhibited and completely Unconscious stream of consciousness heavy in symbolism with “angels,” “prophets,” as well as some Jungian type symbolism about a “jungle,” “snakes,” and “monkey screams.” As I headed to the FBI office in Toledo, Ohio, I thought to myself for moment, “This is utter insanity!” Then, I said to myself rather wryly: “Well,…… – if I am actually, in truth, “insane,” then, at least, I’ll be going in style!” The intense internal struggle had reached such strong levels and produced enough pain and anguish, that I didn’t care anymore. I just wanted “it” over, one way or the other.
When I walked into the Toledo, Ohio FBI office, the FBI agent glanced at my stream of consciousness right away, and I felt a knot in my stomach when I saw his eyebrows lift, just a little. There aren’t a whole lot of the sentences which could be said to be straightforward statements in the very wild and utterly uninhibited “What a nightmare” stream of consciousness. As soon as I sat down with the FBI agent in a small cubicle, I pointed out those few lines to the FBI agent: “a group with money fabricates a terrible bomb,” and the line which had “a woman and money are keys” in it. And when I got to the line that said ‘New York or Miami’ I asked the FBI agent which he thought it would be. He angrily snapped, “How the HELL should I know, it is your dream!” I hastily pointed out “New York.” The interview was over that quickly.
My “What a nightmare” warning-prediction, notarized on October 18,1981, turned out to be very accurate and detailed: group, money, fabricating bombs, New York, death, “22 were assembled”, women, as well as identifying and the Weathermen manifesto in the title.
Besides these explicit details, there appears to be some symbolic synchronicities in the “Mustard Seed” precognitive stream of consciousness. The statements were: “Time is at hand! Time is at hand, Angels said.” and “Fight Hard, Die Well! A prophet spoke!” could be construed to symbolize the deaths of the two policemen and the Brink’s guard. The angels declaring, “Time is at hand,” could be seen to symbolize the deaths of the two policeman who were killed by the Weathermen terrorists, while the prophet’s statement, “Fight Hard, Die Well” could be said to symbolize the one Brink’s guard who was killed. In this symbolic interpretation, the angels that symbolize the policemen could in this allegory be said to outrank the “prophet” who seems to have ‘prophesied’ the death in the “Fight Hard, Die Well” statement. There is a sense of unreality or surreal feeling about all this.
When I researched the articles of the New York Times about the Weathermen attack, when I saw that people had died, it crossed my mind that these people were very “real” people. At times, there is a feeling, or perhaps better phrased – an aura – of unreality and a sense of all being surreal. At the time I wrote the “What a nightmare” warning i was clearly deeply emotionally involved, as the statement “Fight Hard, Die Well” would clearly indicate. It was almost as if, in my mind, I was actually there, somehow – in the moment when it happened. The statement “Fight Hard Die Well” sounds over the top and way too over dramatic and theatrical. However, the question crossed my mind, “What should one say if one knows someone real will die a violent death?
While there are a limited number of documented predictions-warnings of assassinations, the notarized, precognitive “What a nightmare” warning is, compared to historically “documented” spiritual-psychic experiences is, without question rather exceptional in detail and accuracy. When compared to Old Testament prophets such Ezekiel or Jeremiah (‘foe to the north” & 70 year exile) as well as modern psychics who made predictions such as the documented psychic Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus, or Jeane Dixon, It has much more detail than any other to the best of my knowledge and, to the best of my knowledge. Furthermore, the What a nightmare warning, again, to my knowledge, appears to be the only written documented warning-prediction about terrorism. ` Perspective: The Mustard Seed and The Holy Spirit
After many, seemingly endless at times, years of anguish, doubts, existential fears, and excruciating soul searching and self-examination, I finally reached the realization that the Mustard Seed spiritual experience was, without doubt, an expression – and, in a sense, a product – of the Holy Spirit. Several Christians agree with that that experience is a reflection of the HolySpirit. There are several reasons for arriving at that conclusion. The first would be that the amount of detail in the transcendental “Mustard Seed” Spiritual experience is actually phenomenal – and unprecedented.
Furthermore, at that moment in time, I was “consciously” an atheist and consciously pretty seriously believed that psychic, prophecy, as well as angels, miracles, and God were “superstitious nonsense” – which is the “norm” of psychology. Carl Jung stated that “spirit” [spiritual process] is an ‘autonomous unconscious process’ with a capability similar to the conscience that would have the ability to over-ride the ego to take action. I would say I am walking proof that Carl Jung was right. I should mention briefly that Fraser Watts pointed out that of people reporting positive experiences in one study of spiritual experiences, 24% of them were atheists, which would also provide solid evidence that Jung was right that spiritual process are largely unconscious.
Another piece of the puzzle would be that, as everyone who knew me then – including myself – would have told you: “Charlie Peck,” at that particular moment of time could not psychologically or physiologically possibly have written out the truly exceptionally detail precognitive transcendental spiritual experience, without some transcendental or external force or influence of some kind. It is interesting, when I went over this with a psychology professor, he agreed that what happened was outside ‘free will.’
Another reason for my personal understanding of the Holy spirit is that, besides referring to angels, prophets, nuns, additionally, the last sentence of the transcendental stream of consciousness had a reference to the “Mustard Seed Parable” – which, in the end, I personally realized that it was a “divine” insight, since it fit so perfect into that situation and answered a very powerful drive to understand the experience. It is ironic that it took me 36 or 37 years to really grasp the significance of the “Mustard Seed Parable. I didn’t graps the significance of the Mustard Seed Parable until I stumbled across the “synthesis-consensus of Viktor Frankl, Carl Jung, William James, and Emile Durkheim who agree unanimously that “spirit” [spiritual processes] “creates meaning and a sense of reality.”
The Mustard Seed Parable is deceptively simple. A “Mustard Seed” is planted, then it grows into a wonderful Mustard Tree. The Parable of the Mustard Seed Mark 4. 30 Then He said, t “To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it? 31 “It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth; 32 “but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest …”
In a metaphor of the Kingdom of Heaven to Transcendental Spirit, then, the meaning of the parable lies in the growth, the life-spirit and the creation of meaning. That is, my Mustard Seed Transcendental Spiritual Experience was the Mustard Seed and resulted in a growth in my personal understanding and this was a major force in “meaning creation!” In Exodus there is also a reference to “spirit” creating knowledge (i.e. trades, etc.) (meaning) On top of that it is the Spirit that breathed life into man.Of course, later Christ stated in John 5:6 that “Spirit is Truth” and truth, of course, easily translates to “meaning” or “meaning-structure.” “meaning” in Sense of the synthesis-consensus that “spirit” [spiritual processes] create meaning and a sense of reality. Furthermore, that is consistent with the Gospels theme in often portraying the Holy Spirit as the “Spirit of Truth.”
Furthermore, in the Judeo-Christian tradition, which also overlaps with some Islamic beliefs, the “Spirit” originates in the form of “Life-Force” in the Biblical Creation Story of Genesis. Genesis 1:2 states, “The earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters.” Only a little further in the Bible, Genesis 2:7 states: “Then the Lord God formed a man[a] from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” The Islamic version of the creation of man mirrors the Judaic version: “When thy Lord said unto the angels: lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate.” (Qur’an. Ch 38- vrs 71&72) which describes the spirit of God moving above the waters in the act of creation.
I should note that “Spirit” as “Life-force” is a nearly universal symbol-idea or archetype found throughout the world’s cultures and among all the earliest primitive and prehistoric cultures – on every continent and in every human culture, from Native American cultures, to Australian Aborigines, to Polynesian, Chinese, Japanese, and so forth. The Chinese refer to “life-force” energy as ‘Chi’ which symbolizes the vital life force energy of the Universe. Qi or chi is central to the Taoist worldview and practice or worship. Similarly, in Japan, “life-force’ is named “ki,” In Hinduism, life-force is “prana” or “shakti.” Ancient Egyptians called it “ka.” In some places of Africa, “life-force” is known as “ashe,” and in Hawaii it is known as “ha” or “mana.”In Buddhism, there are several concepts that relate to “life force and energy.” In the Buddhist Pali Canon, vinnana is one of three Pali terms that refers to the mind. also, the word, Vijnana (Sanskrit) is translated as “consciousness,” “life force,” “mind,” or “discernment.”
The list of names for “spirit” as “life-force” are almost endless. These are just a few. Jung pointed out that the origins of the idea-symbol of spirit as life-force were likely in the observation of early humans that absence of breathing at death represented the departure of a “life-force” of the person. That is borne out by a linguistic analysis which shows a worldwide correlation that the word for spirit has roots in the word for breath in nearly all the cultures of the world. Genetic research has demonstrated that certain traits of “Religiosity” are inherited. It would seem very probable that the human unconscious – or collective unconscious (the concept that Jung advanced – would have an inherited idea-symbol for “spirit” as “life-force” or in Jungian terminology an archetype of the “spirit as life-force.” I should highlight, that in that context, my Personal Transcendental Mustard Seed Spiritual Experience may not be as wild and “out there” as one might ordinarily think.
I do have an obligation to note that if there is the idea-symbol of “spirit” as a “life-force” buried deep in the recesses of human consciousness – and that materialists are rather frivolously advocating (with no substantial evidence to speak of as well as some serious methodological flaws) through norms and teachings that “spirit” and spirituality is “superstitious nonsense” then it would seem an inevitable conclusion that these “scientists are probably screwing around with things they really shouldn’t-ought to be doing – in my view.
Comparative View: The Force, Holy Spirit, and Collective Consciousness!
The idea of the Holy Spirit would seem necessarily include the idea of Spirit-Consciousness most likely parallel in ways to Durkheim/Jung’s concept of collective consciousness. Several references to the Holy Spirit refer to the concept of “wind” – which, of course is very present and active in the world. So my view of the Holy spirit as being in the world and pervasive through human consciousness would seem well founded. In general, from the Mustard Seed experience, My sense of the experience is that the experience reflects an intricate inter-connectivity with life, others, and transcendental spirit.
Though, the Holy Spirit predates Star Wars by thousands of years, the idea of the Holy Spirit in terms of Energy and Force makes a lot of sense. pervades believe that spiritual and religious emotions – and spirit – pervade this consciousness. Furthermore and perhaps more importantly, it seemed clear that the information I came up with in the Transcendental Spiritual Mustard Seed ExperiencComparativee had to have come from a source outside myself – some kind of Transcendental Spirit or Intelligence. The concept of “spirit” is prevalent in every ‘primitive’ religion I had researched, in one form or another, and is present among all the modern major religions. Judaism actually has a concept of the Holy Spirit, which they call Ruach Hakodesh. Similarly, Islam has the idea of a Holy Spirit, which they call Ruh al Qudus.
Carl Jung stated that he believed that “spirit” was an “autonomous unconscious process” which had enough ‘force’ or emotional power to motivate or move a person. Jung stated that “From the psychological point of view the phenomenon of spirit, like every autonomous complex, appears as an intention of the unconscious superior to, or at least on a par with, the intentions of the ego. If we are to do justice to the essence of the thing we call spirit, we should really speak of a “higher” consciousness rather than of the unconscious, because the concept of spirit is such that we are bound to connect it with the idea of superiority over the ego-consciousness.” (in CW8: 643) Viktor Frankl also believed that “conscience” was intimately connected with “spirit” and empowered an individual into independent action.
I should highlight that my actions on October 18, 1981 could, in a sense, be viewed as living proof that Carl Jung was right. At the time of my notarized, precognitive “Mustard Seed” Transcendental Spiritual-Psychic Experience that consciously, my cognitive beliefs about spirit, spirituality, prophecy, and psychic were highly antagonistic to those ideas. In spite of that I manged to write up a – semi-conscious at least stream of consciousness, then, walk into a FBI office and go over it with a FBI agent though I had no cognitive belief in what I was doing and I also had no record at all.
110 Million Americans have Spiritual-Psychic Experiences & “Normalcy”
The existential psychologists and editors, Park and Paloutzian, in the Handbook of the Psychology of Religion and Spirituality, state “numerous survey studies in both the United States and Europe have demonstrated the normalcy of reports of religious experiences, including mystical experience (see Spilka, Hood, Hunsberger, & Gorsuch, 2003, pp. 307-312). Depending on the specific wording of the questions asked, anywhere from a third to a half of the populations affirm such experiences…While this correlational data does not provide evidence of that causes such reports, it does establish the normalcy of such reports and indicates social scientists have until recently ignored a common phenomena.” (p. 67)
Park and Paloutzian emphasize that the “reports” of spiritual experiences by people surveyed definitely do not prove the reality or physical existence of a “transcendental spirit,” in any way. However, Park and Paloutzian do argue forcefully that the survey-studies do, without question, demonstrate clearly that spiritual experiences have a “normalcy.” That is “spiritual experiences are OK” – which should have been the situation all along since the ‘golden rule’ in psychology is: I’m OK, You are OK.
First, it is important to understand that William James, in his classic work, The Varieties of Religious Experiences, establishes that spiritual experiences create a “sense of reality.” On top of that social psychology has ‘proved’ through experiments and studies that the human mind has a powerful “categorization” process in the human mind (Tajfel, Turner, Hogg, Abrams, Baumeister, and most every other social psychologist). So, in my situation with my notarized – an very real – “Mustard Seed” Transcendental spiritual-psychic experience, the “categorization” process would without question categorized my real (and notarized) experience and categorized it as a transcendental spiritual-psychic experience.
The bottom line is that in my experience – as with, most likely almost all other spiritual-psychic experiences – my brain was doing exactly what it was supposed to an my worldview and understanding is perfectly healthy.
Part III: Spooky Double Entendre FBI Synchronicities!
A “synchronicity” involving the FBI emerged with my first encounter with the FBI – with my brief exchange with the FBI agent in Toledo, Ohio on October 18, 1981. By fate, circumstance, or destiny, my mother’s law office was located in the same building, directly next door to the FBI office. Beginning with that minor synchronicity, over the course of the next almost forty years, there were occurred several more coincidences
or synchronicitieswith the FBI or FBI personnel, which considering the numerous amount of synchronicities with the characteristic of being very consist, seems, in my view, demonstrate a rather bizarre pattern of consistent sychronicities with the FBI. For the most part this has been (way) beyond my control, and thus are not artificial or contrived coincidences.
It could get a little spooky at times. When I lived, temporarily, in Fredericksburg, Va. next to FBI Profiling pioneer and author John Douglas for a short time, while both of us were building houses. Of course this is something neither one of us planned, but was a chance coincidence that happened “acausally,” as it were.
Kathi (my wife) – Daughter of FBI agent
The most significant synchronicity that happened, would be the event when I met my (future) wife, Kathi, in 1984. Actually, it wasn’t until I had been with her for 6 months or so that I learned that her father had been a former FBI agent. Kathi, though at odds with her father, who had been an FBI agent while he was alive, seemed very proud of her father’s status as an FBI agent and showed me on a couple of occasions the letter from FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover congratulating her father on her birth.
Kathi, a lifelong and loyal Lutheran, as it turned out, has had several of her own spiritual-psychic experiences. Kathi views one of her spiritual experiences as being, in essence, a direct intervention by God. When she was pregnant with her second child by a prior husband, her doctor, on a routine checkup, informed her that the fetus had stopped growing, and told her that he highly recommended aborting the baby. She felt strongly she shouldn’t do that, so she prayed to God. When she went for her next checkup, the fetus had resumed growing.
After I had been married to Kathi for some time and while our children were still relatively young, one day, she had a very strong feeling that she needed to go see her Aunt Katherine, who she hadn’t seen in a long time. When she went to go I asked her to take the children with her, but she felt strongly she should not, so she refused to bring any children with her. When she reached Aunt Katherine’s house, she found her aunt dead on the kitchen floor. She also has had a couple other experiences like that.
Kathi also told me how after she had left home and gone out on her own (actually she was pretty much pushed out), she did a painting of a woman. When she went to college, she made a bust of a man. Later she met a couple through John and Karen who went to the Holy Comforter Lutheran church in Baltimore with her – who observed that they knew a couple – a man named Jim and a woman named Greta – who strangely bore some remarkable similarities to the painting and bust she had made (though done at different times). Kathi gave the painting and bust to John and Karen. Furthermore, Kathi also related how her mother seemed to “tune in” to political events from time to time. Her mother, just before the Cuban Missile crisis became public, went on a major shopping spree – stocking up big time on food, especially imperishable canned goods.
I might also mention, in passing, that I also recently learned that an old high school friend turned out to be a lifelong Lutheran as well, who had also had a transcendental spiritual experience as an adolescent. Of course, though the 700 plus page comprehensive “Self and Identity Handbook that I have has not even one mention of spirit or spirituality, Stanley Hall’s classic study of adolescents showed that spiritual experiences are fairly common during that period of life.
I should stress that Kathi is an individual, who definitely identifies completely herself as a “Christian” – as well as a dedicated Lutheran – who has been completely committed to Christ’s commandment to “Love thy neighbor” and who has very strong code of ethics. At age 13, she spoke up at a church congregational meeting and spoke out against racism. At a very young age she was also an activist in the anti-Vietnam War. Kathi recounts how she took her infant son to an anti-war protest in downtown Baltimore at the War Memorial Plaza. She joined the SDS, the famous Students for Democratic Society Movement, which gained popularity during the anti-war protests of the 1960’s. So it is kind of like a double entendre [double meaning] synchronicity that the “Weathermen” which appeared in my 1981 “What a nightmare” warning, were a violent splinter group of the SDS – coincidences within coincidences.
Of course, being a total pacifist, Kathi was completely opposed to all violence, including the bombings of the Weathermen group. In a sense I’m the polar opposite of Kathi. For most of my life I have been on the political sidelines, and in high school I could probably have been described as being “politically stupid.” I had a friend whose brother was in the SDS, but that is all I knew – and, when I was in high school, I actually had no idea what the SDS was, what it did – or that it had any politcal or social significance at all.
Kathi, having been a very committed pacifist and having been an anti-war activist and protester, gave her an understanding and some familiarity with FBI tactics-policies regarding surveillance of radicals. some of that understanding would be an emotional grasp learned through interactions with her who was a hard line loyalist FBI agent at the time. Kathi relates how her father pretty much ‘saw’ her almost as if she literally were one of those ‘dirty commies’ you found under every bed according to J. Edgar Hoover and the, then, official FBI Doctrine – which gave her a very intuitive understanding of my situation.
Kathi was something of a ‘rebel’ who viewed herself as a Bohemian-artist, so she relates to the fact that I am something of a cultural dissident. what turned out to be helpful to me is that Kathi also understood that the FBI and the U.S. government does actually have a dark side, and that not all the employees of agencies are (or even ever were) “practicing” boy scouts. Analysis is something like 90% of the CIA, and I could probably talk with a CIA analyst about ideologies and Geertz’s writing about politics in emerging countries with no problem. I seriously doubt if I would have much in common with CIA operations or covert intelligence agents, and prefer, actually, to keep it that way.
The U.S. government, especially in light of all its unbelievably humongous assets in electronic surveillance can be not only intimidating and frightening, but at times even terrifying. So, it was very helpful that she understood my fears of the government, and, at times, she even expressed some sympathy and empathy, when I talk about questions of wiretapping, or how my computer was hacked with images of the former CIA Director and my 9/11 page.
In fact, my sense of it is, that people have, to some extent, an innate fear of government – a fear that others people (or things) have power over you and can affect – or play with – your life in arbitrary and destructive ways. Fear was pretty bad at the beginning in 1981. It didn’t help that there was pretty loud static on the phone line an my brother in law who was a lobbyist in D.C. had a wiretap machine which kept going off. As they say, when it comes to government, especially intelligence, paranoia is an occupational hazard.it took me years to develop a thick skin and a rather fatalist attitude that the government is going to do whatever it is that governments do, and there is nothing I can do about it.
The cherry on the FBI-synchronicity-cake is that Kathi’s father, a former FBI agent, abandoned her and never once even sent her a birthday or Christmas card. It is incredibly crystal clear, in light of the fact that I got nothing from two FOIPA requests but got my “What a nightmare” warning, on a tip by an employee of the FBI/FOIPA by writing the Cleveland FOIPA office directly, that the FBI – in spite of the fact that I was doing exactly what I was supposed to and I was acting in good faith – that I was effectively abandoned by the FBI – in a simulacrum-synchronicity of Kathi’s former FBI-agent-father having abandoned her.
As far as synchronicity, when it comes to synchronicity with the FBI there seem to be wheels within wheels within wheels. It is striking to me that the odds of meeting a woman who had her own spiritual-psychic experiences so would be understanding about mine plus could grasp and understand my ‘drive’ to warn about an impending attack’ as well as the governmental over-reach question would be without question somewhere between incredibly slim to none. The thing is that when we met, she was severely depressed because her kids had been ‘snatched’ – so she had no inkling of my “What a nightmare” experience. Our chance meeting was completely and totally random – extreme “acausality” as it were.
FBI Profiler John Douglas: Wheels Within Wheels
Most bizarre of all was a chance meeting with FBI Profiler and author John Douglas. While I was building a house for myself in Fredericksburg around 1997-1998, by chance or fate, I lived directly next door to the former FBI agent John Douglas, who was a pioneer in FBI profiling. I should mention in passing that the very first time I encountered John Douglas, he said rather spontaneously to me, “You know, in my line of work (profiling serial murderers) I can’t come home and say to my wife, ‘Gee, honey, you’ll never guess what happened at work today.’ I thought that was a little odd since that was the very first thing he said to me (except he worked as a FBI profiler) After thinking about it, I figured that if I were the one who had to look at the brutalized and mutilated bodies of murder victims, day in and day out, I would probably be a little eccentric too.
The synchronicity-pinnacle of our chance encounter is that, John Douglas, in his book, The Mind Hunter, states unequivocally about psychic capability, “I’ve seen it work!” On one occasion when I spoke to him, he told me that Beverly Newton, a Fredericksburg psychic, had begun her career with a psychic awareness that happened to her at the birth of her first child was born. By chance, I also happened to meet a man who related a story about Beverly Newton to me. He told me that when he was in high school, a friend of his was told by Beverly Newton, that his pickup truck would have a problem on the way home – which played out to be correct!
I should preface this discussion by saying that as Dean Radin pointed out in his book, there were a fair number of people who had premonitions, and I was far from the only one who had a precognition of 9/11. I had more difficulty with that than “What a nightmare” by far. I found out too late that anti-depressants kick me into manic episodes and I was in a really bad manic episode. In retrospect it is surprising I was able to cross the road without getting my butt run over. I tried four different times to “kick it out” – and failed, badly!
1. I filed a complaint in U.S. District court against the Secret Service, for rather inexplicable reasons (even to me). I did manage to bring up “911” (as opposed to 9/11), which the court documents actually did seem to make a big issue of. The judge finally threw my case out as “psychobabble.” I should mention that as I understand it the federal filing system would not, to my understanding readily lend itself to filing of psychic phenomena, as a matter of course, leaving me at the mercy of verbal ‘knowledge.’
2. By a sheer “coincidence” I happened to encounter a woman who was a member of the ARE whose husband was a former secret service agent, and even more significant, the woman gave haircuts to the head of the counter-terrorist group, and she asked if I wanted to talk to him. She brought that up because on a ‘hunch’ I had taken by “What a Nightmare” documents in with me to get a haircut (which I have never done before or since.) Nothing happened and unfortunately I never followed up with her.
3. I called the FBI headquarters but got shunted off to some “institute” and said to the woman, “this one is going to be bad.” and hung up because telling her anything would have been a waste of breath.
4. I finally called the CIA and asked for the duty agent. I did get connected with someone, though it sounded like it was a cell phone of some sort which didn’t make a lot of sense to me. I did try to warn them and said something about the “Twin Towers.” The next day I watched as the emails disappeared one by one off the screen, and being already in a really horrific manic episode, completely flipped, of course.
Reagan Assassination Attempt and “Spooky” Synchronicity
between CIA Director Casey [pun] and the Famous Psychic Edgar Cayce
American assassinations are a bit twisted and bizarre. one of President Garfield’s campaign promises was civil service reform, specifically the spoils system by which newly elected presidents would award federal office positions as rewards to followers. Ironically, Garfield was assassinated by Charles J. Guiteau, a disgruntled office seeker. The spoils issue had become quite a political hot button at the time. The attempted assassination of President Theodore Roosevelt was tried by John Flammang Schrank who was ‘told’ by the ghosts of President McKinley to take revenge on President Roosevelt. What makes it ironic is that President Roosevelt became president after the assassination of President McKinley by a anarchist-socialist. McKinley was a staunch capitalist and Teddy Roosevelt was the complete opposite – a progressive who advocated a square deal as opposed to the rigid and brutal repression by strict capitalists under McKinley. So, if there is a collective spiritual-psychic consciousness, then, it is possible there may actually be a grain of truth to that – an ultra conservative “spirit” – or archetypal unconscious social-political “norms” – getting supernatural revenge on those damned liberals??
Of all the assassinations in America, the Reagan assassination attempt had to have been, by far, the most bizarre. Ronald Reagan was a Hollywood actor who had become the President of the United States. Hinckley, the man who attempted to assassinate Reagan was obsessed with Jody Foster, a Holly wood actress, and attempted the assassination of President Reagan to win the love of Jodie Foster, who was a Hollywood actress. If that wasn’t bizarre enough, Ronald Reagan, as Governor of California, had passed legislation providing psychiatry huge amount of financial resources. It’s like with President Garfield, the same social-political forces which made psychiatry an issue and brought Reagan to provide psychiatry large funds were the same social-political forces which apparently set Hinckley in motion. Lastly I would comment that Hinckley I believe was right wing and Reagan was right wing. Similarly Oswald who was left wing assassinated a left wing president . the same social-political forces that brought JFK to power would seem to be the same forces that motivated Oswald.
On top of that, Herbert W. Bush was Reagan’s vice president, had been a former CIA Director. My father and I went to the same school as both Bush presidents. So, it seems really bizarre – and Beyond! – that a Phillips Andover Academy graduate called the FBI in Toledo, Ohio and warned them about the impending assassination attempt on President Reagan. My parents were both heavily engaged in Republican committees and all that, and they met both Bush’s as well as president Reagan. My read is that all those political connections played against me, partly because my parents (God bless them) were very “Establishment” types.
On the other hand, I am, if anything, a serious cultural dissident more akin to the Steppenwolf character in Herman Hesse’s novel who proudly proclaimed, “Ah, but it is hard to find this track of the divine in the midst of this life that we lead, in this besotted humdrum age of spiritual blindness, its politics, its men! …. And in fact, if the world is right, if this music of cafes, these mass enjoyments and these Americanised men who are pleased with so little are right, then I am wrong. I am crazy.” (p. 48 – 49)
In any case, there are some days I scratch my head and ask myself, “how on earth did I get mixed up with this crazy-wild way out and beyond bizarre synchronicities?” It’s pretty mind-boggling if you ask me. I know there is a message from God in there somehow – I just have absolutely no idea what the message could possibly be in all that mind-boggling coincidences-synchronicities. I still have no idea how I got entangled in all this craziness.
Synchronicity Between CIA Director Casey and Famous Documented Psychic Edgar Cayce
Lastly, it might seem that there might be a little twist of synchronicity in the fact that in 1981, when I gained some ‘spiritual’ self-awareness , and I ‘warned’ the Toledo, Ohio FBI about the impending Reagan Assassination attempt, William Joseph Casey (1913 – 1987) was the Director of the CIA (1981 to 1987) . Of course, perhaps the most famous psychic, would be the documented psychic Edgar Cayce, who was active from roughly 1925 to 1945. I should say ‘coping’ with the reality of governmental agencies can be quite intimidating at time – and even frightening. It was a bit disconcerting when I read Woodward’s book about intelligence and read that CIA Director Casey was an absolute fanatic about protecting President Reagan.
My ‘imagination’ had a field day (actually several) thinking over what some ‘unbeliever’ at the CIA (Casey was, in fact, a paranoid) might think if they learned I had any foreknowledge of the Reagan assassination attempt. I would say it was sort of like being at a Las Vegas casino and having ten jackpots hit at the same time – with all sorts of bells, whistles, and sirens wailing, as well as the flashing of blinding lights. I should highlight the fact that my warning to the FBI about the Reagan assassination attempt was far less detailed than my “What nightmare” warning. My impression is that legal technicalities wouldn’t ordinarily have stopped CIA Director Casey – not even for a New York second.
In dealing with things, the “unknowns” are sometimes what makes situations and things difficult and hard to come to grips with. One of the hardest lessons I learned, was that when you are dealing – or coping – with the “reality of things like the “government” or government agencies, you are not dealing primarily with an objective reality, but you are dealing with how you “view” and how you emotionally grasp the reality. That principle probably applies to religious beliefs as well as political beliefs, as well. My mantra became: “Governments are going to do whatever governments do and there really isn’t anything you can do about that.”
While generally when you talk to three different people you will get three different answers, some people, in my experience, do have some pretty ‘wacky ideas about ‘psychic’ from time to time, and, I do, on occasion, get some rather adverse and irrational reactions. On top of that, I must confess that my personal impression of government ‘intelligence’ is that when you get to certain levels of national intelligence, some (not all) of the people connected with national security do not think like ‘ordinary’ people, and do some things I personally wouldn’t consider rational – from personal observations, that is.
Part IV: Review, Commentary, and Reflections
Collective Consciousness Reviewed and Reworked!
Psychology and social psychology do not, at the moment, have any concept of collective consciousness. However, It wouldn’t appear possible to understand or describe mental telepathy and precognition without a concept of collective consciousness. Now, It would seem an inescapable conclusion that if there is, in actuality, the existence of mental telepathy, then there must be some kind of collective consciousness – at minimum some kind of consciousness internet, as it were. The concept of the collective unconscious and archetypal energy in terms of genetically accumulated archetypes (predispositions), scripts, or idea-symbols which are embedded within a collective unconscious that energizes and activates motivations and purpose and so, affects and influences thoughts and behaviors.
That being said, my experiences are unusual, in that they include social-political events, and thus must incorporate, in some way, the processing of social-political signals and stimuli. So, it would stand to reason that my experiences would doubtless involve a Collective Consciousness which, besides having archetypal symbolism such as angels, prophets, and the “Mustard Seed Parable of the Collective Unconscious, would also be in line with Durkheim’s collective consciousness – which unconsciously conveyed “norms” (and thus social-political signals-stimuli). From research into spiritual-psychic experiences, such as Dean Radin’s observation that there are numerous “documented” precognitive experiences prior to 9/11, and from my own experiences, it seems clear that that the “visibility in the collective consciousness” in terms of unconscious social-political signals and stimuli would be a major factor, as well.
Synchronicity, Archetypes, Energy, and the Collective Consciousness
In all concepts of collective consciousness, the archetypal Jungian collective unconscious, or Durkheim’s collective consciousness that conveys and communicates norms and values, the role of emotions is pivotal. Carl Jung, William James, Clifford Geertz, the modern psychologist Eric Klinger all agree that emotions are a primary source, in one way or another, of motivations, drives, needs, and ultimately purposes. Furthermore, William James and Carl Jung both emphasize that emotions energize symbols or “abstractions,” in William James words. James states that “This absolute determinability of our mind by abstractions is one of the cardinal facts in our human constitution. Polarizing and magnetizing us as they do, we turn towards them and from them, we seek them, hold them, hate them, bless them, just as if they were so many concrete beings. And beings they are,” (p. 48 Varieties of Religious Experience)
As Edgar Cayce observed, as well as many other spiritual leaders have as well, that “Thoughts are Things.” My personal spiritual-psychic experiences would reinforce that statement as well – especially where mental telepathy is concerned, when at times I have found mental telepathy only too real. Furthermore, theoretically, stories do, at times, seem to contain some residual “energy” in the ideas and narrative, as it were, so in the telling of a story, some ‘residual’ energy could possibly be released and conveyed, not only through consciousnesses but within the unconscious collective spiritual-psychic consciousness.
As Nancy Furlotti states in the article, Tracing a Red Thread: Synchronicity and Jung’s Red Book, (Psychological Perspectives, 53:4, 455-478, 2010), “Affect emerges from archetypes, which are the a priori ordering principles of nature, the world, and the psyche. When an archetype is activated, energy is put in motion that does not adhere to the laws of causality, or time and space. Instead it moves in its own way between psyche or the unconscious, and matter, or reality.” In some circumstances, I might think that relating a narrative or telling a story has some similarities to this archetypal function of generating energy in psyche and the collective unconscious with some similarities to prayer – or expressing spiritual hopes and dreams.
In that light of the historical-genetic [emotional] reality of the myriad ancient and primal idea-symbols or archetypes of “spirit” – especially “spirit as life-force,” the psychologist Donald Kalsched observations about archetypes makes more sense: “Archetypal energy is rooted deep in the unconscious and it is ‘archaic’, primitive, and also ‘typical’. Archetypal energies and affects are not easily assimilated by the conscious mind. They can be luminous or dark, angelic or demonic, but because they exist in raw, unmediated form they tend to be over-powering.” I would add that, while Jung focused almost entirely on the powerful energies and emotions of religious archetypes, it is clear that political archetypes, though not as romantic as mythic and religious symbolism, also are powerful forces in human consciousness, culture and society.
Collective Consciousness in Contemporary Society
As the modern “unconscious” psychologist Bargh observes, a great deal of human behavior is shaped and determined by unconscious environmental social and political influences, so a collective conscious that conveys energized symbols of value-laden [largely unconscious] norms as well as powerful psychological, spiritual, and religious archetypes would be a major force in social and political affairs.
My observation is that the collective consciousness, at the present time has assumed an “ascendency” and influence not seen before, partly due to social media, TV, internet communications and so on. One fact that appears incredibly striking to me is that if you compare modern spiritual-psychic activity documented spiritual-psychic experiences in modern history since roughly WWI it is day and night compared to the past two thousand years. The Bottom Line of the Collective Consciousness
It would seem to be an inescapable conclusion that there is, in fact, a Collective Consciousness [largely unconscious] which as Furlotti mentions might best be viewed as a “field” of consciousness [thinking], perhaps comparable to a magnetic field that pervades human consciousness. Within that collective consciousness, there are very powerful archetypes and symbols energized by emotions (and perhaps accelerated by modern day social media). It has crossed my mind that a rather potent story involving powerful symbols such as the FBI, CIA, as well as religious symbols such as angels, prophets culminated by a transcendental spiritual experience including the Mustard Seed Parable about creativity and ‘spirit” as life force, hypothetically, it could have a beneficial effect in the collective consciousness. Many modern spiritual-psychic scholars speak about a “matrix” or “intelligent mind” but in my view that bypasses the vital role of emotions in energizing “abstractions,” symbols, or archetypes. For that reason I personally feel that the “Holy Spirit” is a better adapted terminology for a collective consciousness- transcendental intelligence.
All-Seeing, All Knowing – NOT!
There are more preconceptions, prejudices, and misunderstandings about spiritual-psychic experiences than any other aspect of human consciousness, and many people react to how they perceive experiences, as opposed to the reality of those experiences. So, I feel an obligation to comment that some “preconceptions” that people have of psychic simply are not true.
The most salient warning-predictions in my experience were the assassination attempt of President Reagan, the “What a nightmare warning, and 9/11. Most of my other tags were less emotionally provocative. Spiritual-psychic is definitely Not “All Seeing and All Knowing.” First in documented “precognitive” illustrations (as opposed to one on one readings), no one has ever come up with a name. It would seem likely that the region of the brain responsible for “names” is not directly connected with the ‘precognitive’ region of the brain. Also, in documented precognitive illustrations, none except Caesar’s assassination have precise timing, and very few have timing at all. One author of Nostradamus noted that Nostradamus never had any timing. Jeane Dixon, in her conversation with the Washington D.C. socialite that had been on JFK’s inauguration committee, generally seems to have the timing down in her warning of the impending JFK assassination. My “What a nightmare-Mustard Seed” warning prediction was very close, but was still a few days off.
On top of that, to the best of my knowledge, the “What a nightmare” warning-prediction is the only precognitive warning-prediction to include a “place” which had been narrowed down – in this case to “New York!” Jeane Dixon claims to have told the socialite the “south” but her biographer, though she confirmed the conversation with the socialite, failed to to get any confirmation in her interview with the socialite. I should note that the “What a nightmare” is the only precognitive warning about terrorism, to my knowledge. I feel I should point out that, keeping things in perspective, assassination is, in a sense, relatively ‘easy’ since one only has to name the place or the timing.
The “What a nightmare” Warning-Prediction in Perspective
To really understand precognitive experiences I think you would need to try to look at spiritual-psychic experiences as perception and hopefully be able for a moment to see things from my point of view. For instance, taking the ‘What a nightmare” experience, If I were “looking” into the collective consciousness there would be several characteristics of the “What a nightmare” perception-experience that would be visible. First the Weathermen were a well-known and notorious terrorist group so would be visible in the collective consciousness. Furthermore, they were well-known to the FBI.
In retrospect, it is possible I might have picked up “New York” (in that places are rare in precognitive experiences) by mental telepathy from the FBI as it were – since I might have ‘connected’ when I called and warned about the impending Reagan assassination attempt. There had been a series of robberies of Brink’s armored trucks prior to the Nyack, New York incident, and while the FBI seemed not to have any conscious awareness of the activity of Katherine Boudin, it is, as Jung pointed out, a largely unconscious activity. .
Katherine Boudin and Ms Clark were well know actors in the Weathermen terrorist group. Their manifesto was well known. So, in the collective consciousness there would have been an emotional and symbolically laden archetype, as it were, in the collective consciousness. In contrast the incel terrorist incident in Canada which I ‘tagged’ would have had no salient “presence” in the collective consciousness and would have been extremely difficult to “pick up.” There was nothing for me to “latch onto” or lock onto.”
In retrospect, I must say, It doesn’t make much sense that I could turn out something so detailed on the “What a nightmare” warning-prediction” and really have such a difficult time with 9/11 which was even more “visible” in the collective consciousness. Besides being in an over the top manic episode, I believe it was just more than I could handle at the time.

I do have a notarized very detailed and unprecedented precognitive spiritual-psychic warning, as well as 6 or 7 other documented precognitive dreams or perceptions, as well as perhaps uo to a coupel dozen undocumented experiences – All which could be said to be preceptions fo threats to the group.
