Baggio performed on football’s biggest stage at the 1990, 1994 and 1998 World Cup, though his displays in the USA were unmatched for both highs and lows. Baggio scored five times during Italy’s surge to the final, though he blazed over from the spot during the penalty shootout against Brazil at the competition’s climax.
